Story
Get to Know Us
Founded in 1987, The Bayou Review is a student-run literary arts magazine from the University of Houston-Downtown. With the help of faculty advisor, Professor Stalina Villarreal, UH-D students get the opportunity to learn the inner workings of running a literary magazine that showcases works from a diverse group of writers, poets, and visual artists. These works are not only from students of UH-D, but also from creatives worldwide.
